Go back to the beginning

 (Title: quote from Digimon)

So this is not the School post number 2, as you may well notice. I am so much behind on everything that has happened, crap. So, last weekends happenings in short to get even somethig more recent: Went to Kioto, lost my camera but found it again! Luckyy! And it was way too hot.

Then back to Easter.
My real family was absolutely the best sending me that huge Easter-choco-package from Finland to me! ;...; I told them my dear German schoolmate had a package sent to her, and asked my family one too as a joke. I can't believe that they actually did that! And from this German girl I also received a cute chocobunny and an egg! Thank you!
+ at the same time my hosts decided to give all the sweets in the house to me so.. I all of a sudden had a lot to eat. I shared the Easter things with my HF tho!

And then soon after was Golden week. This year was kinda unlucky, so Golden week was barabara, only weekend plus two holidays. Yet somehow my hosts got me out of school on Friday so we started our trip to Nagano early! My hosts have a second apartment there and it was an awsome place indeed! And I call Nagano "the little Finland" now. It even had snow!! And a radioprogram mentioned Finland! Astonishing astonishing!
The real thing
I can't believe I even had an own room there too
I was looking forward to a cottage house like those back in Finland with no electricity and so on. But no, this one was like a total normal house! The only thing missing was an internter connection, which I didn't miss much. The house was really in the mountains, so I got a terrible headache at the first night from the sudden altitude change. And of course, I forgot my medicine that I always carry with me home! I maybe thought I wouldn't need any, since my constant headaches  that I was suffering from back in Finland are now completely gone! I don't know if that's due to eating differently or that I sleep a lot more or what, well whatever the reason, I'm happy they are gone! ( bet that now that I mention this they'll return..)
Where could this be?
Under the rainbow cloud of course!
I saw Fuji-san! We were really lucky see that all the way from Yamanashi prefecture! We took a lift up to a different mountain with three of our dogs. It was amazing but I couldn't but wonder what would happen if I dropped the dog I was carrying... But I didn't and the sky was clear blue and weather nice and.. yeaaa. There was a rainbow cloud so I was happy.
So can you find Fuji-san from here?
Merry merry round and round
At the same day, we went to a merry-go-round cafe. Nothing special to say here. I love these. I was so happy to get to ride it! (I'm really 17, okay). Oh and about the age thing! You know how they say that Japanese people often think that foreigners look really mature for their age? But no, Japanese ppl always think I'm younger that I actually am.. Man. Same thing everywhere I guess, well at least here they don't ask if I want the kids ticket on the bus.

I got to see the pink flowersea one last time
And on the last day I took a little walking photo tour on my own. It was amazing to get to run around the empty mountain roads! The mountains are amazing, I've really grown fond of them. One day I climb a really tall one.. Fuji's on my list! That will be with Katri and Kata, some year, some day, but definitely, we'll climb that.
Koinobori's on 5.5
My running shoes~
Nice thing to find in the middle of a forest
Hiyyaa'll
That was about it for Golden week. I'll try to do this blogging more frequently now on. And I want to end this post with my personal thoughts: Being in here has made me think about many things (really many!) and see how big of an idiot have I been, and I know so many things I wanna do differently when I get back to Finland. In short, I just want to be a better friend, that's all! And to be more like myself! Here it has been sometimes really hard being yourself and I sometimes really got lost, like I did act a lot in he beginning trying to be polite and all and well it was good and my hosts loved me but.. I want to be more natural without all the brainwork, which is the best advice I can tell myself. When I realized that I became a lot more stressfree. And that's an advice I wanna give to you too. Trust me, life becomes a lot easier! So that's it for today, amm it got a bit cheesy but it's 22.40, already past my bedtime! I'm all cheesy and awkward at this time! Not my fault! My blog! My Keyboard! Shut up!
Good night, love ya, take care!
Buh bye!
