Christmas time and Host Family! ('o´)/*

It is chirsistmtmas everyone! Or it was! But holidays are still going  on so guess it counts. And next year is the year to leave far far away land.. I'm getting a bit excited already now that I know my Host Family to be! :3 Do you want to know? Oh, who am I kidding of course you don't but guess what. Imma go on and tell anyways. Hmph.

Now see this map and take a guess where I will be placed..

Yes! Intelligent little mongsters it's the city state of Narnia you are a genious! Or maybe the city in the middle of the green circles and awsome arrows. Yeah, stole it from mister Google. Green bits I made all by myself, can ye believe it?

It's Gifu and I am very pleased with it although it isn't Narnia. And right after hearing the name of the city I knew what to give to them as souveniers. I'm not going to tell it's really spelled Sisu or am I?
It has around 400 000 citizens a little more than Helsinki. The winter is semi cold, at the moment it was -1 degrees so 4 degrees colder than in here! :) But the summers can be really hot and humid as in most of Japan. Maybe travelling to Nagoya then?

The family consists of a father and a mother and four dogs. Really cute white puffies and I love it since I have always wanted a dog. :) But really, I don't know how good the dogs will behave because I got to hear from a massiv bueno friend that people don't really train their dogs in Japan! Thanks for the advice I will not dream for a perfect dog house. Still, very cute they are.

And words from the x-mas. I got an AWSOME self made pillow from my Katreh, which I will take to Japan even if it would take up all the space I have in my bag. So comfy and probably took a huge amount of time to make ;__; I love it.

Sleepati sleep everyday. And all the other presents I got too were uwsum. :D Thank ye all. Only my stupid lazy boyfriend hasn't gotten me anything... Okay maybe we agreed to give them to each other on new years eve.. Don't be mad, love yeh <3 Only two days and my gift isn't too bad either.

Me and my new camera goun take so many photos of Japan.

And lastly me and Patamon. Did I already mention that I love Digimon and that's 80% why I want to go there. I wanted to take Patamon with me but I can't take it if he gets lost. :/ Together since 2001 or something like that. Happy holidays ye all, party as hard as you wish.

A Heartwarming Welcome!

Hello and welcome ladies and gentlemen to my very first blogging experience! It's all really weird and fascinating. I guess I made this blog for my year to Japan which will be happening on let's see.. in 97 days! Wow. To tell you the truth I am a little scared of the tought leaving everyone here, and I guess that's why my blog's name contains the word "miss" rather than "happily awaiting for the new adventure". I have never been such a fan of travelling anyways.

Made with Paint, 8 hours 46 minutes

I still am very excited, don't think that I wouldn't be! It'll be an awsome chance to explore a new culture and this has been my dream, what, 4 years or more?  Yeah, guess that's it. My friend will come back here soon from her exchange year from JPN (if she's ever willing to come back which I have begun to questionaise) and then she has already fullfilled something we have both dreamed for so long! It's so weird but I am really happy to see her again.
Ahem, sorry this is not an interesting topic let's change it a little bit. So I still haven't gotten any host family informations and what I am hoping for is a family in the Northern Japan, Hokkaido to be more spesific! I like snow so much and I am not too fond of the heat. Anythings still absolutely fine though of course! :D I'm waiting to here more about my placement soon! I'm very curious to know, you know?
Oh yeah, and no pics for any of this crapiticrap but you take a look at our boiling delicious hot chocolate with whipped cream instead:

Tasted even better than it looks

And on the topic of food, here's a piece of sushi we ate last week. (HOT TIP: Helsinki has a really good sushi/Thai Buffee place that cost's only 15e and can eat as much as you want. But name I cannot remember so you're welcome!)

Yum yum so good. These were from Turku, ate with very good company.

                                                                   Looks good

And as a bonus an octopus my friend sent me from Japan. Haven't yet eated these though. I hope you a very very nice rest of the day whatever day it was and how much there was ever left of it. I'll post something next when I actually have something to say. Haha, bye.
